Materia wins in Boussias Cyprus Responsible Business Awards

In July 2023, Materia Group was awarded the Bronze Award in Technology for the Common Good category in the Boussias Cyprus Responsible Business Awards

The awarded nomination was the novel service eCare offering remote monitoring and telecare technologies in clients all over Cyprus. The eCare, supervised by healthcare professionals, includes, among others, instruments and technologies allowing for remote cognitive assessment and rehabilitation (ReMember-Me), tools for the evaluation of loneliness (DigiAgeing) and the Sensoflex mat, developed in the context of the COCARE project. SensoFlex, allowing for simultaneous physio-cognitive training is a significant asset of the eCare service, offering an array of exergames adapted to older adults.

The eCare service is expected to add significant value and create new service models in Cyprus allowing for equal access to healthcare services for all and facilitating efficient care delivery.
